Development Art:
Main Characters

Development of the main characters, Ronou, Mune, Sabér, and Sarn. There's an immense difference now than when I started (bored in high school = not necessarily good art). With lots more consideration to background and the environments the characters were raised in taken to mind, let's see how our characters have grown!
(Most recent pictures at the top left.)

Ronou

Ronou Yulonde
Ronou's themes are "red", "yellow", "wind", and words similar to "honesty". Though it was a long road getting her design to where it is now, she is still a character whose appearance changes often. Although she commands the wind, she's not very elegant.
Note: Ronou used to be a boy. Her gender changed after the reboot.

Ronou Run New Ronou (2) - She's a lady, whoa whoa whoa Ronou Hair Note Ronou slightly older New Ronou (1) Ronou as drawn by former Disney animator Tom Bancroft! It helps! Was gonna be the original prologue cover, but... Kinda random Hairstyles Part of when I started drawing Mage-y Ronou He BEAMS. Angles are fun. Our main man!

Mune

Mune Kitian
Mune's themes are "pink", "blue", "water", "ice", and words similar to "intuitive". Her "final" design was also a long time in coming, and it's important; she tends to dote on how she looks more than Ronou. An affinity for water and a family aligned to it has fashioned a passive kind of elegance. Her color themes happen to be my favorite color pairing.

Mune Mune's moon marks New Mune Mune as drawn by former Disney animator Tom Bancroft! It helps. Yet another dress Mune in another dress Some sort of old redesign that didn't really work A little Mune? Looks like I tested with hair and eyes Yeah. Does this angle make her look fat? She heals.

Sabér

Sabér Sakeou
Sabér's themes are "green", "purple", "forest", and words similar to "silent". Sabér's appearance stays tied to his roots in the forest no matter where he goes. His strong sense of conviction shows, even through a lingering sting of defeat.

Sabér's pan flute loin cloth Sabér in mountain gear Well, I sort of liked it...not really. Okay, so this wasn't ever very good. Doesn't he just RADIATE cool? :B

Sarn

Sarn Manta
Sarn's themes are "red", "green", "fire", and words similar to "mad". Strongly aligned with fire, he's not given to self-restraint; it shows in his eyes, and yet he does try. His aura creates an enigmatic sense of danger.

Sarn Ooold Obvious boredom Old sketch in red pen Doesn't that name sound evil~?

Group / Other
